Has anyone tried the buttercreme icing recipe from this website? It calls for mixing for 1 hour... Can anyone tell me if that is true? icon_redface.gif

Unfortunately, a search in the recipes section for "buttercreme" returned negative results.

Since you didn't provide the whole recipe name, a link to the recipe or the contributor's name for that recipe, there is no way to identify/find it.

I will say though, that 1 hr. seems a bit excessive, unless the recipe is for a huge amount, or the mixing technique is unusual ..

Yah, Ive never heard of having to mix it for an hour. Maybe they were trying to say that making the recipe takes an hour to make from start to finish, not the mixing time.
