Your forum is very informative and people seem to know their decorating and I am wondering whether someone out there would be able to help me.

I would like to get some instructions as to how to make swags and draping out of fondant on a wedding cake...the is urgently required for this week end.

The draping is on a 3 tier stacked wedding cake and it starts from the top layer and drapes down to the bottom layer, swirls a little to the side and extends down and around the drum a little. I wish I could send you a picture but its in Modern Wedding Cakes vol. 7.

I would really appreciate any information on the above. Thank you,

J.

This is in the articles section... There is great info there...

http://www.cakecentral.com/article63-How-To-Make-Fondant-Swags.html

That gives you the basics of the "swag" part...I think from there you can imagine how you are going to have to drape it down the cakes. I don't have any step by steps. Take some fondant and practice icon_smile.gif

Good luck
Pat
