I've been asked to do a guitar or musical birthday cake.

Since I am becoming more and more intrigued by cupcakes, I cannot stop wondering if there was some way I could make those instead.

Anybody have ideas on ways to do cupcakes that fit with that theme?

It's actually a fella's 30th birthday party. Apparently he's into Guitar Hero big time!

I'm told pumpkin pie is his favourite dessert flavour. I've been hunting down appropriate cake/filling/icing recipes.

what about if you were to color flow some guitars and picks....and place them in the middle of the cupcakes....or you can make the shape of the guitar with the cupcakes??? hope that helps....
