I have some fondant I made in June (I think) that has been in the fridge since. I need to use it this weekend so I took it out a couple of nights ago. It's still hard. How can I make it more malleable? TIA!

You can try working some shortening into it.

I also put mine in the microwave a few seconds at a time until you get the consistency you can work with.

If it's just stiff, then nuke it. If it's hard/crusty from air getting to it then those parts should be thrown out.
