I need to have fall leaves for a wedding cake I am doing next week... Go figure I would wait till only one week to get them done... Anyway, I tried just hand painting the leaves using gel colors and vodka, I did not get the results I was looking for. I saw these leaves that I could buy, but my budget on this cake is not high enough for the extra costs for these to order. I have been interested in getting an airbrush, maybe this is the time? Then again, who knows if it would come in time now anyway.... Anyways advice is welcome!!!

I think if you use some dusts on the leaves you've already done, you'll get that effect.

I just tried that with some gold luster dusts and you are right! I love them now! Thanks!
