....muffins? Someone from work called me over the weekend and wanted to know how much I would charge for 200 apple cinnamon cupcakes. I'm supposed to let them know tomorrow. Thanks for your help...I've never had a muffin request before.

Are they muffins or cupcakes? Muffins have no topping typically and cupcakes are iced. if you are not icing them, then the price would be lower.

If you are asked to make 200 iced cupcakes, I would charge NO LESS than a dollar a piece and would personally, charge more like $1.50 to $2 for our area depending on what they want for decoration.

You need to figure out what it will cost you to make 200 muffins.

Cupcakes I start at $3.50 each unfilled and iced with a swirl with rainbow sprinkles.. but a muffin is a bit different. They aren't iced.. but they can be just as pricey to make.

Figure out what it will cost to make your recipe per muffin. You will want to make enough for it to be worth your time. I mean you go to Starbucks and will spend at least $2 for an iffy muffin.
