I put my cake in the refrigerator after icing with buttercream.

My question is how long can I leave my cake in the refrigerator?

And can I apply fondant right when I take it out of the refrigerator?

Thank you, ahead of time... thumbs_up.gif

The cake should be fine...even over night!! I have added fondant on a cake right out of the fridge and it was fine...a bit stiff but fine!

only down side of putting fondant on when straight from fridge is buttercream isnt sticky for the fondant to attach so in that case either brush over witha little water or brushing sugar syrup to help with that.
