Can I use buttercream icing instead of coffee creamer? If not what kind of coffee creamer would go good with a spice cake? Thanks in advance.

mouse ~

I have made tons of cake balls and have never used coffee creamer.

Well...I did actually try once, but it seemed to make to cake too wet....I probably did something wrong!

I always either use my own buttercream or store bought frosting (I like using store bought cream cheese frosting since it is shelf stable!).

Just add enough until you get the right consistancy for you.

Good luck!
