Need some advice please! My customer wants a Holland themed cake which includes a windmill. Can you give me some advice on how to make a small house or building so I can attach the windmill? Thank you for your response!

I would start by stacking square or round cakes the size I want the building and then I would probably just carve the shape of the roof. It would depend on how you want the building to look and how your windmill will attach to it. Do you have any pictures of windmill buildings that you are going from?

Thx SueBuddy! I do have a picture and the building/house will be small. Maybe the width of a Rice Krispy Treat (packaged kind). I could probably make a smaller cake and follow the instructions you listed below. icon_smile.gif I'm still not sure how I'll handle the windmill. Now I'm thinking I might just have they house on it's side so I can lay the windmill down. Do you think that would look ok? Perhaps do a water effect with flowers and grass...
