I am making a big mouth bass cake for a groom's cake. Does anyone have a pattern for me to cut the cake shape? Do I do a 2 layer cake? Buttercream or fondant? Any idea how to get the 2 toned green without airbrushing. Also how do I get it shiny if it is buttercream and not fondant?
I would appreciate any help and advise I can get. Thanks a million in advance!

Do you have a pic of one that someone here did so we can give some advice? If I do a carved cake, I usually do 2 layers with fondant. It smooths into the crevices easier and I usually brush my green with lustre dust/pearl dust to get it shiny.
