I'm doing my 1st topsy turvy this week. I decided to do just two tiers to make it easier. I know the basics, but I am still a little scared about trying to taper the sides.... will it be okay if I dont?
If its only to tiers do I still need to put a cake board under the top tier for support?

i don't think you need to taper the sides...i never do....i think when you make the top tilt it kinda gives the illusion....and yes you definately need a board for support!!!! good luck!!!!! hope this helps...there is nothing to it!!!!!
