I want to make a topping for my chocolate pound cake and wanted some type of glaze. I was going to make a ganache but I dont have any heavy cream. I just have half and half and those melted nestle chocolate packets. Does anyone know what I can use as some sort of glaze for my cake. Will it work to use melted chocolate and half and half for a topping? Please help!

try making a chocolate confectioner's glaze. Just take some powdered sugar and cocoa powder together and then add a touch of milk (or you could use your half and half) until it makes a drippy sort of consistency, but not too thin. This is the glaze they put on doughnuts, like the boston cream ones you know??
