How do you make a marble cake? Is it as simple as it seems? I was thinking just make a white cake and once in the pan swirl around some chocolate batter.

Most of the recipes I looked at were for a bundt pan, but I am needing a sheetcake. Does this make a difference?

TIA, MessyBaker

That's how you do it. Just swirl together two different flavored batters.

I have found that it doesn't make a difference. I just put one of the batters in the pan first, and then the other in the center and start swirling. My customers love it and I get requests for it all the time, so if I'm not doing it right.....LOL oops, I guess. HTH
