Hello, our community is having a candle light prayer tonight for my 5 month old neighbor who is fighting for her life. We will have coffee, cocoa, and juice, I would like to make cupcakes...... does anyone have any good ideas as how to decorate them?

what is the baby's illness??? Maybe you could do a ribbon of a color that goes with the illness?

She was taking a nap and doctors not knowing what came first...seizure and vomiting back into lungs....she was unresponsive for sometime, actually pronounced dead, she then got her pulse back, she is now trying to breath on her own. But she still needs lots of prayers.

an anchor is supposed to symbolize "hope" maybe you could do that? Or maybe just a simple soft flower on each one?

I think very simply - just a nice swirl, or single flower in soft pink.

I'd just go with a pink flower for the top. Sticking to simple may be best.

Or if you wanted to do a small fondant ribbon for the top or below the flower that says "hope" on it, that would be nice, too.

Thanks to everyone for the ideas, I made some with pink flowers and some with light purple swirls. The candle light prayer went well. We had a lot of people come to pray, I love how our community is always there for each other.

That's awful. Poor baby and poor family. We'll pray for them too. How terrible.
