I want to make cupcake pops from bakerella. I want to make redvelvet, from a box and mix with can cream cheese frosting. They are dipped in chocolate, and candy melts. I would bag each one put in a flower pot. package well, i hope. I would priorty mail these to my grandmother for her birthday.

how long do you think they keep?

I am going to Oklahoma Sugar Art Show the weekend of her birthday. So I would make these on thursday and mail on Friday. They should get to her by Monday. SO she can take to bible study on Tuesday.

Do you think they still will taste fresh. Since I am using canned icing, that should not present a problem with not being frigerated should it?

thanks shana

I don't see why not..........I think they usually last longer if they're NOT refrigerated

The only thing i'd be concerned about would be the heat melting the chocolate it's dipped in, being a few days in transit. But I dont think theyd spoil or anything like that!! icon_smile.gif
