I am now researching my cake designs for the upcoming Xmas season and was wondering if anyone owns any of the Xmas books by Karen Davies?

Do the books contain detailed instructions on how to make the gumpaste figures? Are the instructions simple enough for a beginner to understand? I am interested in learning how to make gumpaste Santas, Xmas teddybears, Xmas trees, penguins, etc.

I have at least one of them, but I don't remember if it has detailed instructions. I will try to remmber to look tonight. I do remember thinking that the cakes weren't that impressive, but each to their own.

I have three of her book - two are christmas. They have good details for me to understand. They are paperback and thin books. I really enjoy them, matter a fact I need to pull them out for christmas.
