I'm making my aunts wedding cake and her main flower is the tiger lily.
Can anyone explain to me how to make a tiger lily out of gum paste?
Also, her wedding colors are pink and gray.
What other flowers would look good with the color scheme?

I used the tutorial on CC (here) to make the most beautifull lillies just use orange gumpaste instead of white to get tiger lillies instead of asian lillies!
These were my first attempt (quick tip make way more than you need as until you get the hang of putting them together you will break heaps -or at least i did lol!!)

Thank you!! i was a little bit proud of myself after that effort (that and the then transporting the cake 1.5 hrs in the car and setting up without breaking one!!!) I have only ever learned from trial and error and books and tutorials with never attending a formal class so if i can do it anyone can!! you just need patience
