I woke up this morning to see my cake looking like a lumpy mess!!!! Huge air bubbles every where it didn't look quite as bad as the photo but all most. Thanks to all the info and support on CC I didn't panic, I got a pin and popped the air bubbles then added a border to cover up my repair work. I don't know if I would have been able to do this without CC'ers.

Wow, you did an awesome job repairing it! Wouldn't have known if you hadn't mentioned it! Great design choice and great job on the cake!

MMF = Marshmallow Fondant - this is homemade, there is a recipe for it in the recipes section

I absolutely love MMF...I first made it a few months ago and was hooked ever since. You will never catch me spending my hard earned money buying fondant.

I use MMF as well. I was just wondering if she made MMF and it whipped for two long...thus causing the bubbles.

I usually use MMF but I wanted this cake to be perfect so I purchased the fondant, I went with Satin Ice after all I had read on here

Must have been lack of sleep icon_razz.gif !
