How do I make black icing? I have cupcakes to make for a teen birthday and she has requested black icing. Any suggestions?

If you have time order some Americolor Super Black it gets the darkest black and no bad taste. Let sit overnight. HTH

Welcome to CC kerrid.
Wilton makes a black paste color and so does Americolor. Wilton is usually easier to find. Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby and Michaels carry it. It helps to make chocolate icing first and then add the black instead of just starting off with white.
Don't hesitate to ask any thing you need to know. This is a great group and you will find lots of help here.
