I posted a picture last week of a topsy turvy cake, the second one I did, that I planned on entering in the county fair. Went to the fair tonight to see how it did and found out I won the Grand Champion ribbon for it! I am still in shock. I had hoped for a blue ribbon, but didn't dare dream I would come away with a Grand Champion ribbon. Thanks for listening...had to tell someone!!

I just went to our county fair today with our family and looked at the cakes, it was a lot of fun. I think I may actually do an entry for next year. I've never done anything like that before but I think it may be fun.
