Please HELP! I need ideas on making a Snow White cake for my 3 year old daughter. I was thinking of using Rice Krispie Treats for the base of the log cabin... I have all the figurines. Any tips?

Welcome to Cake Central. Sorry, no tips but I know she will love it, so don't worry about it too much.

Hi and welcome to CC!

What kind of tips are you looking for? Are you asking for help with the use of Rice Krispies Treats or are you looking for design ideas for the cake itself. If it's the later you can go to the galleries link and do a search for "snow white" I think there were 3 pages of pics when I did a search. If it's the RK's I'm sorry I can't be of more help as I haven't used them myself but at least this post will get a bump and hopefully someone who has worked with them will be able to help!

Here's one with a house:

I like the path up to the house too. You can make some trees and birds to represent the forest as well.

Are you using fondant or marzipan? Is the design going to be 2-D or 3D?
It occurred to me that you cld bld the house w/graham crackers w/the background being cake. GL thumbs_up.gif
