A friend of mine just had a baby, so I decided to look around the web for some gift ideas. I came across a cute site that was accepting pics of baby shower cakes for a contest... so, I entered a pic! There are some cute cakes on there... you should take a look! There are two categories: real cakes, and diaper cakes. You can click on the pictures to take you to a "how to" page for each one.

One of the prizes is for the People's Favorite decided on by voting... so, you can vote for your favorite. (whether you vote for mine "Classic Pooh", or not - no worries!)

Anyone else come across sites like this one? I actually found a couple of them that were similar in layout, and offered a little prize... some were gift cards, some were gift certificates... I imagine they are interested in getting some nice ideas submitted to their sites for their viewers.

Totally cute cake. I love the use of cornelli lace as a backdrop. It really make the Pooh bears stand out. Good luck on the contest.
