I have a wedding on Saturday but was wondering if I can start decorating my tiers today and keep then covered in the fridge till sat.. it's a wasc with rasp filling.. the only reason I need to do this is I also have 85 cupcakes to make and deliver somewhere else on sat too so the more I get done early the better... what do you think?

you should be fine. I usually bake on Wednesday for a Saturday wedding, then ice Thursday, and decorate on Friday.

So as long as you don't have alot of colors that could bleed, it should be okay.

I try to bake on Mon or Tues and put them in the freezer until Thursday....I pull them out, ice and decorate on Thurs for a Sat wedding. From what I've read on here, decorating on Thurs for a Sat wedding is pretty common.

I have a wedding cake due for Saturday and I am baking tonight and decorating tomorrow. I've not had any problems when I've done this before with other types of cakes.
