I whipped up some of the chocolate putting just a bit of meringue powder in it to be sure it did crust. I am not a chocolate fan but that frosting tasted nice. I was happy with it.

Does every Sam's Club sell buttercream?

Sweetcakes: Their cream cheese icing is not made with real cream cheese, it's only got cream cheese flavoring. It has the same shelf life as the other tubs near as I can tell. The Sam's Club I go to doesn't keep the tubs in the Fridge section.

msulli10: I think all of them do now. Sometimes they are sitting out by the bakery, sometimes you have to ask for it at the bakery counter, or they have it up front by the registers.

Does anyone know the shelf life of the buttercream after it's been opened?

Thanks!

all of the icing is good until the date on the bucket just keep is some where thats not overly warm or cold or you might need to mix it back together a little and not all of the sams clubs carry icing only the ones with in club bakeries, and i add just a little clear vanilla to my icing
