I can't get my mat CLEAN! It catches lint like crazy and I can't get rid of it

How do you all clean your mats? Even with my big blue one I have trouble with lint. ARRRRRGH!!!!!

I have that problem too...just wipe it down with a clean damp cloth right before using it....and then I just make sure that I keep the bottom side on the inside of the cake.

I use a Roul Pat and a silicone rolling pin so both tend to collect lint if I'm not very careful.

I use really hot soapy water and a scrubber sponge.. it does not hurt the mat and gets all the residue off of it. I even sometimes put it in the dishwasher on the top rack..

Well I at least feel better that I am not the only one with this problem!!!
