Hi there icon_smile.gif

I made my little gumpaste flowers last night, simple daisies, very cute. I wanted to add silver dragees for the flower centre but I've actually never used them before. I'm wondering how best to adhere them to the flower?

I searched around for deco glue and there is none to be found on the face of the earth in my region apparently - and its too late to order online. Can I simply use a dab of buttercream icing (crusting) in the centre and then press on the dragee and it will adhere when it dries? Or is there another method I should use?

Any input would be very appreciated!!! Thanks very much in advance!

Cheers!

I've never done it but I've always seen them adhered with a bit of royal icing. Good luck!

Piping gel works really well also. And if you are quick, you can add the dragees while the center is still soft using nothing more than a bit of water. But I most often use royal.
