How can I tell how many servings a character type cake will make?

Most character pans serve 12...Have you checked the instructions to see if it says on there?

the older character pans will serve 15 but as they have gotten smaller the last few years they will only serve 12 at the most. Even my husband noticed one day when we were in Michaels and he saw the display of the pans lined up he said" Wow those pans are no where near the size of the older pans". If you have a customer that needs more servings, consider matching cupcakes or placing the character pan on a sheet cake.
