I have to make several flat bowling pins to stand up on top of a cake. I wanted to put popsicle sticks on the back to push them into the cake with. How do I attach the sticks to the back of the fondant pins? Thanks

actually if you use a heavy gauge floral wire (maybe two in each pin) you can slide the wire into the fondant right after cutting and let it dry.

Otherwise you can use royal icing or gum glue (made from tylose/cmc/other gum additive and water, or dissolving gumpaste in water) to fasten the sticks.

Thank you. I think I will go with attaching them to the sticks with gum glue.
