My good friend is moving away in two weeks and I was asked to make her going away cake. She loves Monkeys and I found an image that I would like to recreate in the cake (sheetcake).

What is the best way to do it? I have tried the FBCT and edible image techniques before and I am not too fond of them. Is there any other image transfer technique that you would recommend? do you think I should make the cut outs in fondant? I want it as accurate and clean as possible.

Please let me know. I have attached a copy of the picture I want to use.

Thank you!
LL

Cute idea. I myself would do the fondant cutouts. It will add depth to the design, and you can tweek it a little if you want to. Be sure to post pic when done. I can't wait to see it.

Good luck.

You could put some text on there to say something like, "We'll be missing you bunches"

background, moving boxes with a moving van or something.?

I'll brainstorm some more. icon_rolleyes.gif
