I am taking Wilton course 3 and Fondant/Gumpaste at the same time. For my final cakes, I have to make one tiered cake and one with fondant/gumpaste. I would like to try making one cake for both classes (same instructor).

I wanted to do a Mrs Claus cake using the wonder mold for the fondant/gumpaste. I already spent a small fortune buying red fondant for her dress. I have also already made the 10" base for the tier cake, but have yet to finish the fondant roses.

Anyone have any ideas on how to do the tiered cake with Mrs Claus on top? Would it look weird to have her so far above the bottom tier? Or should I just place her off to the side of the tiered cake?

OOh, maybe you could put presents under her, if she has to be lifted off of the cake...
