I want to invest in some new coloring, but I don't want to get something lame. I've hear that Americolor is really good, but what's everyone's favorite and why?

I prefer Americolor. They are stronger (use less), and the bottle allows for counting the number of drops used, therefore if you make a custom color, you can make it again by recording how many of which color you used. The Super Red and Super Black are just that - super.

I use mostly Americolor but have started replacing with Chefmaster colors when I run out of Americolor. I find these colors to hold up really well and personally prefer them over Americolor.

Definately Chefmaster! Very vivid color, no nasty taste, use very little and get red and black without letting is set to intensify.

Love americolor, never had any problems.

Americolor black has a purple tint

chefmaster is great too - their black has more of a brown on green tint to it.

Also, their purples are a little different.

You will be happy with americolor or chefmaster.
