I have to make a cake shaped like a Ferrari. Any suggestions on what to use for tires and rims?? I was thinking licorice but not sure if there would be anything that thick. Also thinking to make the Ferrari emblem out of fondant...or is stencil the best way to go?

For my neice's Lightning McQueen cake, I just used black MMF. Roll it into a ball, lay it on a table/flat surface, flatten and smooth. Make indent for centre, flip over. Flatten tire area, push indent towards table again. Smooth, and VOILA....there's your tire.

Pretty easy, actually. The hardest part is getting the right size and having it equal for all tires.
