To me this has been the most odd flavor request. I don't know why I think this, but I do. Any way, I really need a tried and true recipe. If you have one please help!

I checked the site and didn't find much. Cake pick up date is August 31.

Thank you for your help!

Cherry chip?
I would end up adding finely chopped or pureed cherries and some mini chips to a white cake batter, after leaving out a bit of the liquid to compensate for the juicy fruit.

I have done that with plain cherry, but never added chocolate chips. I know that is a popular ice cream flavor too.

Good luck!!

Thank you that is a great suggestion. I'll do a test run before the actual cake.

What kind of base are you starting with? Scratch or Mix? I was just thinking that if you use the WASC recipe you could use cherry yogurt instead of sourcream and lower the sugar amount a little. Then you those flavored oils instead of vanilla. Maybe that will work.

I made a cherry cake today and just added a box of cherry jello to my mix. It turned out great.
