I need help. I am making a cake and I put fondant decorations on it. When I take it out of the fridge, the cake sweats and makes the fondant wet.
I can't take the decorations off now, so I am just going to leave it as it is and use this as a learning experience.
So my question is...
What are the rules for putting fondant accents on buttercream cake?

You probably don't need to put the cake in the refridgerater. The moister in the fridge will soften the fondant. Can you store it on a cool countertop? thumbs_up.gif
