In order to get my writing straight, sometimes I take a toothpick and make small marks in a straight line where I think the bottom of each letter should be. This is easier if you print, but I've also done it with cursive writing. Your letters should then cover the marks. I'm also left-handed and have had problems with my writing curving.

My niece is also allergic to eggs. Here are 2 recipes that I have tried. I personally like the orange cake better than the vanilla cake. My niece was just happy to eat some cake.

Also, do not put merigue powder in your BC. I had never used it until I took Wilton classes, and I only used it when I had to do a cake for class. I promise that the BC will taste the same.

My handwriting is so bad on cakes ..... have you tried the letter presses yet? They were a god send to me!
