I am making an Orange Italian Cream cake for Saturday,8/16. For the pecan cream cheese frosting, is it ok to make tonight and store in frig and frost cake early Saturday morning? I just want it to be as fresh as possible. Thanks!

Sure. You will need to let it warm enough to spread, so give yourself time.

It will be fine to make it tonight and use it on Saturday I have done this with no problem
