A friend has asked me to make Elmo & Cookie Monster face cakes for his nephews birthday. I will be using the elmo pan for both of them. They will be chocolate cake with cookies & cream filling iced in buttercream. I did a search in the galleries and posted an example of what it looks like. I have never charged for a cake before, (have only done for family and as practive) and have no idea how much to charge. I don't even know how many servings each cake would have. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm honestly just trying to be helpful here, so please don't take this the wrong way- you're really not supposed to sell images of Elmo....so taking any money for it would be copyright infringement....perhaps you could do some themes that involve Elmo (like goldfish and crayons!)- and then have her buy a toy to put on top? icon_smile.gif

Just a thought.

You also need to be careful about selling in California. It is not legal to sell home baked goods in California. Not, even to trade for just the cost of materials.
