Help!, My neighborhood is having a birthday party in 2 weeks for her will turn 3 year old daughter. It is dance party theme pink and silver. Her daughter loves to dance. The mother insists on buying the Costco cake with ballons. She wants me to decorate the cake with picks. What would you put on a store bought costco cake.

I suggested to her get the cupcake picks from a bakery shaped like musical notes, and records. Also buy a big 3 candle from the bakery to put on the cake..

I told her I would bake the cake for her. She insisted on a Costco cake.

Any ideas?

Honestly, if she insists on a costco cake, then I would have her take care of the rest of the decorations herself. I mean let's be frank, it doesn't take any skill to stick some plastic picks into a cake anyway. I would never have my name/reputation associated with any product I did not have full involvement in, therefore I would never agree to decorate a cake made by someone else.

Preach on Tara!

I will not decorate a cake I did not bake.

The assumption will be you baked the cake too.
