Does anyone know what shade of pink the Pink Satin Ice is? Is it hot pink? I am soooo tired of coloring fondant such a bright color, and was thinking of taking the lazy way out. icon_lol.gif

Thank you for your help!

It's a pretty deep, almost hot pink. It will fade a little, but, in my experience, not as much as fondant I've colored myself.

All of the satin ice colours are intense, strong, the pink is hot pink, the purple is a deep regal purple. they have a mixing chart that helps with ratios when mixing your own shade. the great thing about the strong coloured fondant is that the consistency is the same as white. if we were to add so much colour to the white to get a hot pink, it would be so soft in the end.

It is a deep pink, not electric pink like the americolor electric pink but more like the americolor deep pink. icon_smile.gif I hope that made sense! I just bought the yellow this week for the first time and I didn't care for the color - kinda boring. I like more of an egg yellow.

I used the pink Satin Ice for all the pink details on this cake:
