Both cakes are beautiful!! If you did them using the Wilton pan?? KUDOS to you!! I have seen that pan up close and would not attempt that cake for love or money. LOL Great Job!

I rather the sheet cake, the image seems clearer and less fussy on the eye!

I agree, I like the sheet cake. But I love the butterflies around the second one. Good luck deciding

Great job on both, I like the sheet cake even though I know how long the star-filled cakes take.

Cute ideas on both! Take both of them! (I like the sheet cake better, but the other was a lot of work!)

I like the sheet cake better, but I like the butterflies and such on the cake board on the 2nd one. So maybe you could put the butterflies somewhere on the sheet cake. icon_smile.gif

I like the 2nd one better not because one looks better than the other they are both great. It is just that the time it takes to do all those little stars deserves to be seen! And I like the fact that she is the whole cake not just part of it and the butterflies put me over the top very adorable.

Well I took them both thank goodness. The adults loved the sheet cake and it tasted great. For some reason all the kids wanted the other cake so it worked out great. Thanks for all your comments.

How neat you saw through the eyes of both groups when you were creating the cakes. That was important research we all will benefit from your work. We now know what kids prefer is not usually what adults prefer and vice versa. We can better tailor to our recipients now. Thank you for sharing!

The more imporatnt choice would be which two flavors of ice cream. Ya have to take both, and of course a sampling would be in order. Nicely done.

Did the sheet cake have just a topper on it? If so I definately like the one you put all that hard work into, the only reason I think people choose the sheet cake is because it didn't seem as crowded, but the butterflies I agree were a cute touch so......#2 for me, even though its over icon_wink.gifthumbs_up.gif
