I am curious if someone knows a good recipe to use for a crumb coat. All the recipes I have used are not working with MMF recipe I use. I feel like something is wrong.
I was hoping someone had a good BC recipe they used which I could give a try!

Any buttercream will work under fondant.

If your buttercream has crusted and the MMF won't stick, just spritz the cake with water.

I also use a regular layer of BC under fondant (even though I use Satin Ice fondant, which is so yummy) because not everyone wants to eat the fondant that is on their piece of cake. If they choose to peel the fondant off, they are only left with cake and a superthin layer of BC.
