i have a cookie shop interested in me selling my cakes thru them. they would take the order, tell me what they need, collect the money and then when i deliver the cake, they would pay me my price. I need to give them a price list for birthday cakes, starting at 8" round up to sheetcakes. and i guess extra cost for special decorations like sugar flow ect.. any help with pricing? i am in ny. Also what else should we talk about? any one ever do this?? all help is really appreciated

First you have to figure your costs, then figure your cost to transport the cake to the store. Then you need to figure out what you would like to make off a particular cake. Then you will know what to tell the shop you are speaking with.

Good luck to you.
