I am wondering what is the difference in the frosting if using the meringue? I always just use extra Powder to thickin up the frosting. Just wondering??

I think that meringue is used to make the buttercream crust, but I do know that some people use it without and it still crusts. maybe someone else knows. icon_smile.gif
