I understand your delimma. Working from home, you would get the convience of being home with and for your family, the only flaw of being at home is the constant interuptions. (which I am sure we all experience when we are creating a cake).
A shop, you would have everything you need and lots of work space, but you wouldn't be at home. So I guess it depends on what you would prefer.
Didn't really give a great reason, but those are the reasons I would come up with. Being at home or not. I worked 2 jobs for a long long time and it seemed I was never home.
Being home making cake is what I would prefer.
