Very new but love this site. All are so caring and sharing.

How would I make a drape, such as one flowing down from one tier to the next? Baby blanket over baby?

Thanks for any help.

I've only done it a couple of times but it's not too hard. Roll your fondant out to about 1/8" in depth. Cut it to the length and width that you want giving yourself plenty of width to create pleats or folds.

Then, gently take the top and pleat it to create folds. Place the top of the drape at the top of the cake where you want it (attach with gum glue or a little water) and gently work the folds and drape where you want it to be. Don't overwork it and work fairly quickly or it could begin to dry and crack.

Good Luck and welcome to CC!
