Any suggestions? I am making a wedding cake for my niece this week. It is an outdoor wedding under a tent. But looking at the forcast it is going to be a hot one! Any ideas on keeping the cake from melting or will I be okay. It is a stacked 2tier and 1 top tier icing with buttercream no fillings. Fresh flowers for decoration.

Wish me luck lol
Thanks for any help

Keep it refrigerated as long as possible. Keep it in the shade. cross your fingers.

I had one outside last weekend, 106 here in Texas. Make sure your icing does not have any butter or it will melt.

If bugs are a problem, I make a tule (?) tent around it.

Good luck

If you can put a fan on the cake, it will help to keep it from melting and help with keeping the bugs from landing. Still keep in shade and refrigerate as long as possible.
