I'm piping some Royal icing filigree over the pattern on wax paper. How long should I let it dry before I try and lift it off the wax paper? I'm making 2 just in case of breakage as thsi is my first time attempting.

I'm piping with medium consistency and tip 3 for the cake topper pictured here http://cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-596134.html

Thanks in advance for your advice.

at least overnight. you can pipe a small random pattern on the side and test it with your fingers to be sure it has hardened.
