I am living in Charlestown, In. Its about 15 miles ne of Louisville, Ky. I was born in Chicago, lived there in NJ, Ca, Ky and Ks. My ex hubby was military. lol

Northwest Indiana! I, too, cannot believe there hasn't been anyone from here yet...I see there are a few people from the Chicago 'burbs, so I guess that's close icon_lol.gif

I'm just starting to dabble in cakes (i've made 2 from fondant...the jury's still out on my skills) and have loved all the knowledge I've been soaking in...can't wait to dabble some more.

I think getting everyone together would be AWESOME! there are so many talented people here and it would be great to put faces to the names!

Hey -- for those of you in or near Colorado Springs-- we may have to meet or start a chat for a happy baker's club (we can come up with a better name than that!!)


BTW--- My cake instructor told me there is a great Cake supply store in Denver, but could not remember the name of it? Any one in Denver or surrounding areas know of it? I would love to go check it out and hope they have Sweetex! thanx!!

Hi everyone,

I'm from Northwest Indiana Munster,
Looking to learn the art of Cake Decorating. Does anyone have any idea where I can start taking classes at? There was a store in Downtown Lansing, Illinois. That store has been closed for a while now., Any other suggestions?
