I've read alot about appricot jam, do I brush this on the cookie before I apply the fondant? Or, WHAT, am I to do with it?? I think it might give the fondant a good flavor.. I sure would like to know, Thanks for your help..

It is really only a thin application to help the fondant stick. You can even use a bit of water to help it stick.

If you used enough to actually taste it, I think the fondant would move around too much. However, you could try it on one and see. It might also soften or melt the fondant. So if you test it, let it sit for several hours and see what happens.

I use karo syrup to stick my fondant on. And some girls just put the fondant on the warm cookie and it melts on.
