I am wanting to make a pregnant belly cake for a friends baby shower. Was wondering what pans I need and how many people this should feed. Also if there is a template for the dress? Any answers or suggestions will be great! Thanks

Most people that I've talked to who makes these use a pyrex bowl to bake the belly in.

yes, either pyrex bowl or sports ball pan if you have it...i dont think there's a template, it's just a large piece of fondant kind of nicely draped

I did mine with the soccer ball pan and 12x18 sheet cake. You can do it on a 11x15, but there isn't as much room for boobs and such. Oh...two cupcakes or mini-balls for the boobs icon_smile.gif.

I love this cake and wish I had more of an opportunity to make them.
